Apeman

Sightings of apemen havebeen reported almost all over the mountainous regions of the world but no serious scientific investigation has been performed.The modern scientific equipment like satellite imaging can be the easiest source since it covers almost every inch of the world and can even photograph a footprint.Perhaps science doesnot like to explore regions where it falls short of logical reasoning.

Alternate Healing

Though not much scientifically studied,there are healings occuring that fall in the domain of paranormal.Doubters would say that it happens through placebo effect but what if the phenomenon occurs without the pateint involving his psyche?It remains to be established by science that healing of body can be managed through treating the spirit or soul.Does power of mind affects the body?

Yeti

I had the good fortune to serve in almsot all of Pakistan's Northern Areas.There I found strange legends in local people.The one that interested me the most was about the abominable Snowman or Yeti.Locally in Chitral the apeman is known as Barmanu.Locals told me that it was found in great numbers in Wakhan Corridor and is taken for granted like any other wild animal.Many had encounters with it.Then again there are reported sightings of other legendary animals and fairies like snow tigers and demons.There is that buxom fairy too which preys on unwary travellers in the dark.Its feet are typically pointed backwards like its counterparts in Punjab.
